No, $250 flat regardless of perimeter. We just spend more time on-site.
Pool plant in a separate shed — does that cause compliance issues?
Often yes. If the plant shed has a door that opens into the pool barrier zone, that door becomes part of the barrier and must meet AS1926.1 self-closing/self-latching. Common Lara finding.
Lifestyle property with the pool in landscaped gardens — can the gardens be the barrier?
Sometimes. If hedges, walls or features form a continuous 1.2m+ non-climbable barrier they can be assessed. But hedges have to meet specific density requirements; sparse plantings don't qualify.
