Pool Safety Inspections
Our thorough pool safety inspections assess all aspects of your pool area including fencing, barriers, gates, latching mechanisms, windows, doors, pool covers, signage, and general safety compliance. Every check maps back to Victoria’s pool safety regulations, which set the standard your barrier has to meet. Gate latches are where we see a lot of barriers come unstuck. As a rule the release mechanism needs to sit 1500 mm above ground level, or be shielded if it sits any lower than that, and the latch has to catch on its own every time the gate swings shut.
Form 23 Certificates
Official Certificate of Pool Safety (Form 23) required for selling, leasing, or renting a property with a pool. Certified as compliant on the inspection date, with re-inspection every 4 years.
Non-Conformance Reports
If your pool does not meet safety standards, we provide detailed NCRs outlining specific issues, recommended fixes, and priority levels. Not passing the first time doesn’t land you a fine: a barrier that simply needs work is a normal outcome, you’re given time to put it right, and then we come back for the re-inspection.
Re-Inspections
After completing necessary repairs, book a re-inspection to obtain your Form 23 certificate. We verify all issues have been addressed. Your re-inspection is included in the flat $250 fee — there’s no extra charge.
