Local Pool Inspections is a VBA-registered pool safety inspection service based on the Bellarine Peninsula, servicing Greater Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula, Moorabool Shire, Wyndham City, and the Surf Coast.
Our inspector, Ryan Gaw, holds the Building Inspector (Pool Safety) registration (IN-PS 100055) with the Building and Plumbing Commission (formerly the Victorian Building Authority). Every inspection we carry out is backed by that registration — we are not a building company with a pool division; pool safety is what we do.
We issue Form 23 compliance certificates for swimming pools and spas across Victoria. The inspection covers the barrier against the Australian Standard (AS 1926.1) that applies to your pool by its construction date. If the barrier passes, you receive your Form 23 same-day where practicable. If it doesn’t, you receive a Form 24 non-conformance report, and the re-inspection is included in your flat $250 fee.
