Pool Safety Certificate
Full barrier compliance inspection. Form 23 issued same-day. Council lodgement guidance for City of Greater Geelong.
VBA-registered pool safety inspector covering Drysdale and the Bellarine Peninsula. Form 23 same-day, $250 inc GST flat, free re-inspections.
Drysdale is the commercial hub of the Bellarine Peninsula, and one of our most-visited suburbs. From the Clifton Springs office we're inspecting in Drysdale weekly — and most weeks two or three times.
Council: Drysdale falls under the City of Greater Geelong. Form 23 lodgement is via the CoGG MyCouncil portal — typical processing 5-10 business days, but you can settle a property the same day the certificate is issued.
Drysdale's pool stock skews older. Many central Drysdale pools were installed in the 1980s and 1990s. Those original installations frequently used gate hardware that pre-dates the 2010 tightening of AS1926.1. The most common failure point we see in Drysdale is gate latch height and self-closing mechanism on pre-2010 fences. The fence itself is usually fine; the gate often isn't.
Drysdale-Clifton Springs estate growth. The post-2015 housing boom around the Jetty Road precinct, Curlewis Estate and the SpringDale Reserve has put a lot of new pools into the 4-year compliance cycle for the first or second time. If your pool was built between 2018 and 2020, you're due now.
