Ocean Grove is one of our weekly destinations alongside Barwon Heads, Wallington, Marcus Hill, Point Lonsdale and Indented Head. We work coastal Bellarine 1-2 days per week so most Ocean Grove bookings are within 3-4 days.

Salt-air corrosion is the dominant issue. We see more gate hinge failures in coastal Ocean Grove than in any other Bellarine suburb. Aluminium hinges, untreated steel pivots and standard Z-tab spring latches typically fail within 5-7 years here. Galvanised or marine-grade stainless steel hardware is genuinely necessary in Ocean Grove — not just preferred.
Holiday lets and Airbnb. Ocean Grove has one of the highest short-term-rental ratios on the Bellarine. The legal owner is responsible for pool safety regardless of who occupies the property — Stayz and Airbnb both increasingly flag listings with no visible Form 23, and council enforcement is more active in suburbs known for holiday lets.
